Fillet Sushi Restaurant Planned for Myrtle


A new sushi restaurant is planned for 618 S. Myrtle, the location of the former Sushi Kuni restaurant. The new restaurant will be called Fillet and plans to serve Japanese food, sake, wine and beer. Unity Center Looking for Warm Clothing for People in Need


As the weather cools, Foothill Unity Center needs warm clothing items for people in need, specifically rain ponchos, umbrellas, jackets, blankets, sweatpants, gloves, hats, scarfs, ear muffs, backpacks, and sleeping bags. New items preferred, no shorts or short sleeves. Donations accepted Tuesdays/Thursdays 1-3 p.m. at the Monrovia Center at 790 W. Chestnut.
