As it is today ...
As it is planned.
Proposed community area.
The new owner of Huntington Oaks Shopping Center (it was purchased last year) plans façade and site enhancements throughout the center, including updated building exteriors, lighting, and a plaza. The proposal - called Huntington Oaks, Reimagined - will come before the city's Development Review Committee (agenda here) on April 2. More images and details on the proposal here.

Sounds like a no brainer!
ReplyDeleteI love this! These sound like some great plans. The community center proposal looks awesome- I hope it happens for real
ReplyDelete**THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER CLOSED BLACK ANGUS AND BROUGHT BACK DANCING ON FRIDAY/SATURDAY NIGHTS
ReplyDeleteThe owner of Black Angus didn't want to reopen.
DeleteThe problem is that a night club atmosphere will bring in the wrong crowd.
DeleteNot for those of us who live nearby and were kept up all night with the music. It was terrible. There’s a whole neighborhood on the other side of Huntington Drive.
DeleteI love the new proposals. It’s a great location and a great center but needs a refresh and it looks like the new owner is on top of it!
ReplyDeleteWill the store be closed during renovation?
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to see that. Hopefully it will help with the vacancy issues.
