Local urban parrots will be the topic of the Monrovia Garden Club meeting Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, downstairs. Brenda Ramirez, who works with Moore Lab's Free-flying Los Angeles Parrot Project (FLAPP), will discuss Red-crowned and Lilac-crowned Parrots, their adaptation to urban habitats, and mixed-species flock formation.
