Dinner at The State, a new restaurant near the southeast corner of Myrtle and Lemon. Got the Happy Hour Spinach and Artichoke Grilled Cheese Sandwich for $10 and a craft beer for $8. Pleasant, sports bar-ish decor, but no television sets, so I guess it’s not really a sports bar. Sandwich was very nice. Menus

I've been 3 times in 3 weeks. I think this is the best place on Myrtle Ave. in Monrovia. Great food, great prices and excellent people to help you! There is a front patio or bar inside where you can also sit and eat brunch, lunch or dinner! Also, great music and also sports on the TV. I highly recommend this place!!!
