Two Monrovia Students Receive National Hispanic Recognition Award



Monrovia High School senior Joaquin Gutierrez-Tunstad and early graduate Tiber Ray both received the National Hispanic Recognition Award from among 72,000 students nationwide . The award highlights underrepresented students' academic achievements. Requirements: GPA 3.5 or higher, being in the top 10 percent in state assessments, or 3 or higher on 2 or more AP exams.
