Monrovia’s public access TV channel, KGEM, has announced the death of Ralph Walker, host of the local television program, Conversations With Ralph Walker. Walker interviewed many leading figures in Monrovia on his program.
On its Facebook page, KGEM wrote: “It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved friend and hero, Ralph Walker. He passed away this evening surrounded by his family, October 25, 2022.”

Ralph will be greatly missed. For 20+ years, Ralph captured the essence of public access. He was a singular voice, person, and friend.

ReplyDeleteI met Ralph Through one of our political groups that was involved with the Obama campaign here in Monrovia and the local cities. When our candidate won we all flew to DC to watch the inauguration. He was an inspiration and a great soul.. He will be missed 💔 Sandra Verdugo
ReplyDeleteRalph worked at my group home. He became a father figure to me that I never had. I love and respect this man very much. When I had no one and nothing, I had Mr Walker. Love you sir and you will be missed.
ReplyDeleteI met Ralph when he was at McKinley. he will always be an inspiration to me and many others. this is part of something he wrote in my going away scrapbook. "Stand tall & stay strong. You have the will to be the very best." You're missed Ralph. Thank you for being a part of my life.
