Alfredo Valenzuela, 50, who murdered an elderly Monrovia couple in 2003, has been killed in his prison cell at Kern Valley State Prison. He was pronounced dead early Saturday morning. His cell mate is under investigation for the killing.
Valenzuela murdered Charles Shaum, 78, and his wife Bernice, 70, in July of 2003 after breaking into their home. https://tny.im/wAPMQ
