  2. I believe the street behind the Hangars is Shamrock Ave (running north and south), the east west street to the right of the hangars should be E Cypress which now turns north just below the tree closest to the runway. I believe the building with the octagonal roof (between the tree and the telephone pole was called the "Airdrome" before the McDonald brothers moved it to San Bernardino in 1940 (where it was first identified as "McDonald's"). It seems about half way between Mountain Ave to the east and Shamrock Ave to the west, and is on the south side of the curved road (Rte 66 / E Huntington Dr at the time, though Rte 66 shifted somewhere along the line going through Monrovia). It was listed with a 2,600 foot runway which is about the distance from E Cypress south to present day E Duarte Rd (which just south of triple rail tracks that would make sense as the southern limit). Monrovia extends to about 3,500 ft south of E Cypress, where a flood control channel pinches the south end to less than 300 ft south of Mulgrew Aircraft about at Hurstview Ave Assuming the Airport western edge was Shamrock Ave.
