If you don’t want to mail in your ballot, you can drop it off at a variety of places. One of the closest ones is probably at Monrovia Library Park. Here’s the ballot dropbox on Palm Avenue on the north side of the library.
I would say it is as safe as mailing a letter. There is surveillance in that area of the park. Contrary to what the media and politicians might make you believe.. 99% of people do not care who you vote for and won't risk prosecution to destroy or alter a few ballots. Regardless I am not a fan of mail in ballots because I prefer the communal experience of voting alongside my fellow neighbors and citizens.
I am wondering how secure is this? The mail in ballots do not require postage. I would think dropping off at the Post Office is much more secure.
