For the third year in a row, Monrovia has been named as one of five finalists for the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation's Eddy Awards, honoring business-friendly cities. Monrovia was nominated as a finalist for jurisdictions with a population of under 50,000 people, along with Duarte, La Mirada, San Gabriel and Santa Fe Springs.
