This large mosquito - with city council voting rights - showed up at Tuesday's Monrovia City Council meeting. The mosquito was councilwoman Becky Shevlin, who dressed in the outfit to draw attention to the latest threat to the area - the Aedes mosquito, which can spread the Zika virus, dengue fever, yellow fever and chikungunya.
