At a 5 p.m. study session on June 5, the Monrovia City Council will examine the possibility of the city creating a “protected bike lane system” in Monrovia. The agenda (https://goo.gl/QghTxj) does not explain what that is but from earlier reading I believe it is a system comprised of bike lanes that are physically separated from regular traffic lanes rather than just painted on the roadways.

As much as I’d like to support alternative, green forms of transportation, I’m afraid I’d have to say a big NO on this one.
