Got a cup of coffee today at the new Pari Passu coffee shop at the northwest corner of Myrtle and Foothill. Nice interior. Kind of a minimalist industrial vibe with ceiling fans and art on the walls, and the coffee was good. In addition to various coffee-based drinks, it also serves pastries, flat bread pizzas, quiches and a croque sandwich. (I looked it up; it’s a fried or baked ham and cheese sandwich.) I hope parking won’t be a problem. - Brad Haugaard
