There will be a meeting this Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m., at the Library Community Room, to discuss AvalonBay, a proposed mixed-use housing project located at 825 S. Myrtle Ave. (northwest corner of Myrtle and Chestnut) that would have 154 units, 2,900 square feet of retail space, and a 286-space parking structure.
