At the Monrovia Garden Club meeting, Barbara Eisentein will discuss how native plant gardening practices differ from those used in traditional or ornamental landscapes, and give tips on how to succeed with natives. The meeting is Jan. 24 at 7 p.m., downstairs at First Presbyterian Church, 101 E Foothill Blvd. It is open to the public.
