At the Monrovia City Council meeting tonight:
~ The council approved hiring the Pokrajac Corporation (the low bidder) to make improvements to the trail system in the Hillside Wilderness Area before opening the entry point on Cloverleaf. Outlined here: https://goo.gl/JcCy8Q
~ Quote of the night: Council member Gloria Crudgington, speaking of a well-received talk by City Manager Oliver Chi on storm water treatment, said Chi "is beginning to look like a tasty appetizer on a tray." She means other cities might want to hire him away. A colorful way of putting it, and I agree with her evaluation.
