Two Monrovians On Women's World Cup Soccer Team | Walking Tour of Old Town

~ US Soccer reports that the United States 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Team will include Monrovians Ashley Sanchez and Kate Wiesner. The World Cup will be held in Jordan http://goo.gl/Gzebvl

~ The Monrovia Historic Preservation Group will conduct another walking tour of downtown Monrovia on Saturday, September 3, at 10 a.m. The tour lasts about two hours, and participants will be walking a total of 8 city blocks during that time. Cost is $5 per person, and reservations are not necessary. Meet at the SE corner of Palm and Myrtle Avenues.
