Monrovia Assemblyman's Bills on Tobacco Meds, Drones, and College for Undocumented Students Go to Senate Floor

Three bills by Assemblymember Chris Holden, who represents Monrovia, cleared the California State Senate Appropriations Committee today.

- AB 1696 requires tobacco cessation medications, counseling, and assessments be covered for Medi-Cal patients.

- AB 2148 gives the National Resources Agency the ability to develop regulations regarding drone use on publicly-managed lands.

- AB 2364 gives undocumented high school students equal access to higher education.

All three bills now head to the Senate Floor.
