'Clear the Shelters' Day Seeks to Adopt Out Pets
On Saturday, July 23, the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, which serves Monrovia, will participate in the second annual "Clear the Shelters" campaign, a day-long adoption event during which the adoption fee for all animals will be reduced to $20 and the shelter will hold extended adoption hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is spearheaded by NBC4 Southern California and Telemundo 52 Los Angeles. Last year 57 Pasadena Humane Society animals found new homes. The shelter is at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena and the event is open to anyone looking to adopt a pet; not just residents of our service cities. Regular adoption policies and screening apply. To expedite the process, print an adoption application from the Humane Society website. If you rent, bring proof you are allowed to have a pet at your residence. Parking is available. View all animals at the shelter at pasadenahumane.org/adopt .
