The home at 168 N Encinitas Avenue, part of the proposed Encinitas Historic District, will one of the homes featured on the Historical Home Tours. A former resident of this same home, Sharon Hammond Nordstrum, wrote her memoir, Life on Encinitas, that spoke of her time in 1950s and 60s living in this home and on this street. We contacted her and she's thrill about our efforts to perserve out two blocks as it was when she grew up here. http://www.amazon.com/Life-Encinitas-childhood-foothill-California/dp/1492935476/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461858721&sr=8-1&keywords=life+on+Encinitas
