Enrollment in Monrovia Schools Continues Decline


At its April 20 meeting (agenda) the Monrovia School Board will ...

- Hear a report that 2016-17 enrollment in Monrovia schools is predicted to decline by 88 students, or 1.51%, to 5,755. This also means a decrease of 1.6 full-time equivalent teaching positions. Details here.

- Approve a list of Monrovia High graduates.

- Honor (together with the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce) these district employees: Martha Alvarez Holmes, Clerical Assistant I at Mayflower Elementary; Janet Dunbar, Teacher at Mayflower Elementary; Liana Beserra, Clerical Assistant III at Santa Fe Middle School; and Donna Monje, Teacher at Santa Fe Middle School.
