St. Luke's Episcopal Church will present its ninth Women's Evensong Invitational on Sunday, March 20, at 4 p.m. at the church, 122 South California Avenue at Foothill Boulevard in Monrovia. Music will include Suscepit Israel (the trio from Bach's Magnificat) and the premiere of the Monrovia Preces and Responses by Kent Bennett Jones. Mezzo soprano Sarah Reynolds will be the cantor, and St. Luke's Deacon Ann Dumolt will be the officiant. A freewill offering will be taken, and a wine and cheese reception will follow.
