~ May 14, Thursday - The Taylor Performing Arts Center at Monrovia High presents "Superstars of Music" with more than 600 vocal and instrumental Monrovia music students. 6:30 p.m., tickets available at the door. Proceeds benefit MUSD's vocal and instrumental music programs.
~ Friday, May 15 - Saturday May 16 - Friends of the Monrovia Public Library Spring Book Sale at the library, noon-5pm; Saturday 10am-5pm. $5 Bag Clearance Sale on Saturday from 4-5pm.
~ May 16, Saturday - Monrovia Historic Preservation Group's inaugural Walking Tour of historic Downtown Monrovia. Meet at the SW corner of Palm and Myrtle Avenues at 10 am.
