Multiple neighbors contacted MPD on several occasions prior to this event regarding the behavior of the male suspect in this homicide. No blame, no finger pointing, but perhaps a follow up to ANY of the PD calls to this house,utilizing a psychiatric evaluation team (they are avail 24/7)for both parties involved, could possibly have prevented this . 1 call at a location is a concern. 15 calls is a solid foundation for a tragedy. The combination of mental health issues and domestic violence is a time bomb. My condolences to the family.
