~ Governor Jerry Brown has signed a bill that will "increase the fines imposed upon those convicted of damaging, vandalizing or illegally dumping on property maintained by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy" to $1,500. The conservancy includes a bit of the San Gabriel Mountains. AB 1767 was authored by Assemblymember Chris Holden, who represents Monrovia.

  1. Aw, poor babies that have been here illegally. I don't feel sorry for them. After all, they're taking jobs away from legal citizens.

    1. Sorry to burst your bubble; but my ancestors entered this country legally; and since I was born in Illinois, I'm part of the indigenous. I have the Federal Government forms necessary to prove my case. And if that ain't enough, I'm also a Vietnam era Disabled Veteran. Put that in your smoke and pipe it.
