Bill by Monrovia's Assembly Member Promoting Obama Signed by Governor

Governor Jerry Brown has signed legislation today to ensure that "President Barack Obama will take his rightful place in California textbooks." The President Barack Obama Curriculum Act (AB 1912) was authored by Assembly member Chris Holden, who represents Monrovia. His press release says it "will be the first step toward acknowledging President Obama’s legacy for generations to come."

  1. So . . . . . an American is beheaded, there is racial tension and rioting in Ferguson and Israel & Hamas won't quit bombing each other . . . . I don't think we need a bill to remind us of what Obama has (or has not) done.

  2. BHO's place in the history books? This President is an Enemy of the State. Most American will want this fact included in all history books.
