Monrovia Plastic Bag Ban Discussion Postponed | Community Garden at St. Luke

~ At tonight's City Council meeting, an item on whether to ask city staff to draw up an ordinance restricting the use of plastic grocery bags was postponed until April 1. City Clerk Alice Atkins said Councilmember Blackburn "couldn't be in attendance tonight and didn't want to miss the discussion."

~ According to a post on the Nextdoor network, St. Luke's Church on Foothill is offering some of its land for a community garden. This is in the planning stages and there will be an open meeting this Saturday at noon in the parish hall.
