~ In an editorial, the Pasadena Star-News echos a criticism leveled by the program 60 Minutes at Congresswoman Grace Napolitano, who represents the bulk of Monrovia, for using her campaign money to enrich herself. How it works: Loan your own campaign a chunk of money and charge the campaign a hefty interest rate (Napolitano charged 18 percent and later 10 percent). All completely legal.
