Monrovia will be conducting a test of the Nixle/911 emergency mass notification system at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Residents will receive the following message:
"The City of Monrovia is conducting a test of their mass notification system. This is only a test. If this were an actual emergency, a text message and or email message may also be sent out to subscribers. To subscribe to get additional notifications from this agency, via text message or email, text your zip code to 888777, or sign up for free at www.nixle.com. For additional recorded information, please call 626-303-6610."
