Financial news provider, Bloomberg, reports that AOL's Patch local news websites, which would include Monrovia Patch, may face a "a do-or-die year in 2013," and if it has a chance to succeed it may require sharp cuts and dramatic income increases. Comment: I wish you well, Patch. AOL is the only company doing large-scale local news, something the country needs. And besides, what fun is it playing baseball if there isn't another team for me to play against.
