~ Current Assemblymember Chris Holden, who represents Monrovia, will have an open house at his new district office (600 N. Rosemead Blvd., suite 117, Pasadena) on March 16 from 2-5 p.m.
~ Former Assemblymember Anthony J. Portantino, who used to represent Monrovia, reports that he is joining the USC Unruh Institute of Politics as a visiting fellow.
