Donnelly Condemns Driver Licenses for Illegal Aliens
Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, who represents part of Monrovia, has issued
a press release condemning a decision to issue drivers licenses to

How did it come to this, that an illegal, undocumented resident is allowed to obtain an official united states document? I certainly hope that any/all such attempts to allow the undocumented, illegal fails. Any/all citizens who share that notion should stand up, speak out and write your city council, your congressman/woman, your president. Let your voice be heard.
I have a friend who has lived here since she was 10 months old and considers herself an American. She is 21 now and has graduated high school and is now attending school to become a nurse. She now feels stuck because there are classes she needs to take, but can't without a social security number. She has done more than American born citizens have done. I have zero problem with this law being passed. It's not like it's criminals that are going to be givin these rights, it's hard working young people that know nothing more than being an American and are trying to better their lives. I'm backing this 100%!!!
At least if they have a driver's license they will have to pass a driving test and will be documented like many of us. If people don't have a license, it doesn't mean they don't drive a vehicle.

ReplyDeletebefore your bigotry gets the best of you, read the safe guards and you will see that on the surface it seems unwise, but it really is a good idea.
