Opinion: I agree. School districts are laying off people, cutting teachers and services, and you are giving the top people raises!? Really!? Ya know, if you want to convince people - many of whom are having to cut back on their own expenditures - to vote for a tax increase because of schools' financial distress, handing out multi-year raises is not the way to do it.

I agree, if you vote in more taxes it just seems to reason that they are going to throw that money somewhere they shouldn't. Greed just plain greed!!! All the common folk are taking some kind of cut. They just don't get it.
