Making New Land in Monrovia

Monrovia City Manager Scott Ochoa reports that in February the city council will consider a plan to put a cover over the wash at Huntington and Fifth. Bingo! New property that can be used for new businesses. Bottom line: more sales and property tax for the city and school district. [Didn't Mark Twain say you should invest in land because they're not making any more of it? Guess he was wrong.]
