Independent Touchdown Can't Wait for Football Season

Touchdown is a beautiful, playful and outgoing tortie. She’s three years old and cannot wait to watch football games with you!

This sweet girl plays like a linebacker - not a lot of finesse, but a ton of enthusiasm! She happily kicks and bats her toys around, chasing after them to pounce on like she’s tackling the quarterback.

Touchdown is an independent big personality. She's not particularly cuddly or a lap cat. She prefers initiating contact and will tell you when she’s had enough. She’s happy enough to climb into your lap when she wants a nap, but only when it’s convenient for her.

She loves treats, and that is one of the best ways to win her over. She loves crunchy treats and will show off all her football skills to get one!

If an athletic, smart, and food motivated girl will help complete your family’s roster, come meet Touchdown today!

The adoption fee for cats is $100. All cat adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. Walk-in adoptions are available every day from 2:00 – 5:00. For those who prefer, adoption appointments are available daily from 10:30 – 1:30 and can be scheduled online. View photos of adoptable pets at pasadenahumane.org.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet. Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email.

Easygoing Tahoe Knows His Commands But Is Still Playful

Tahoe is a calm and friendly 8-year-old white Lab mix who has an easygoing, affectionate personality. Despite his age, Tahoe has plenty of playful energy and loves his walks, plush toys, and training sessions. He’s an excellent leash walker with a loose, easy gait, and he enjoys sniffing around, occasionally showing curiosity but remaining calm even when passing by other dogs or people.

Tahoe is quick to settle into a routine. He’s house-trained and knows basic commands like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “watch me.” He’s also very treat-motivated - especially for hot dogs - and responds well to training sessions. He enjoys a game of fetch and engages playfully with toys, though he can get a little possessive over plushies - who can blame him - they're adorable!

Tahoe thrives on attention and loves to stay close to his human companions. He’s known to lean in for pets, make soft eye contact, and offer gentle tail wags. After playing or training, he’ll calmly settle next to you, perhaps hopping up for a few extra pets or licking your hand in appreciation.

Tahoe is a calm, well-mannered dog who enjoys life’s simple pleasures—walks, treats, and good company. If you’re looking for a sweet and steady companion who enjoys attention and will stay by your side, Tahoe could be the perfect fit!

The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.

Gentle, Low Maintenance, Sinta Loves People - Stays Off Their Furniture

Sinta is an 8-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love for her people. With her calm and friendly temperament, Sinta is the kind of dog who easily settles into any environment, whether it's lounging on the floor (she’s not one for furniture!) or enjoying some quiet time by your side. She’s fantastic in the car, great with people of all ages, and behaves politely around food—no begging at the table with this well-mannered girl!

While Sinta is as sweet as can be, she does have some anxious energy when left alone, often pacing when her humans are out. That said, she’s completely non-destructive and can be trusted to be left at home. When you return, expect a warm (and slightly bouncy) welcome—she’s still working on curbing her excitement and learning not to jump, but she’s getting there!

Walks with Sinta are a breeze—until a squirrel crosses her path! She’s a champ on the leash otherwise, though she could use a little more training to make those strolls even smoother.

If you work from home or are around often, Sinta would make an ideal, low-maintenance companion. She’s chill, sweet, and just looking for a forever home where she can relax, feel loved, and maybe chase the occasional squirrel.

The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.
