Monrovia's Foothill Unity Center will get one of three food recovery hubs being created by the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments. The FRESH SGV program, which involves 20 local cities and numerous non-profits, will collect and redistribute surplus food. The other two hubs will be at God’s Pantry in Pomona and Heart of Compassion in Montebello.
