At its July 19 meeting (agenda here) Monrovia's Art in Public Places Committee will consider adopting eight poems to be stamped into concrete sidewalks around town this year.
Here's one I like:
Then Monrovia Called
I grew up as a rolling stone
With no town to call my own
Then Monrovia called, I came this way
To finally stop, and smile, and stay
See the rest here.
