Bethel Monrovia AME Church is holding a Thanks-Living sock and blanket drive to help those who need help in town. The kick-off service is Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. and the church (at 148 W Lime Ave., at the southeast corner of Lime and Primrose) will receive items through Nov. 14.
