A bill by Assemblymember Chris Holden, who represents Monrovia, has passed off the Assembly Floor with a bipartisan vote of 54 to 10. AB 525 would give franchisee owners more protection from having their contracts terminated. It adopts a "substantial compliance" standard for termination. Source: Holden press release
