~ A bill by Assemblymember Chris Holden, who represents Monrovia, has passed the Assembly on a 75-0 vote and goes to the Senate. The bill requires "Buy Here, Pay Here" car dealerships to give 10-day notification before a remote kill device can be used to disable a car for lack of payment. Current law requires only a 48 hour warning.
