~ According to the City Manager's weekly report, Monrovia ~ Economic Development staff members are visiting Monrovia businesses to learn what they're looking for, what they need, and how the City can help now or later. ~ Monrovia Fire Department is one of 21 sites throughout the County that will be outfitted with a “Smart Classroom” for training. Using Homeland Security grant funds, Monrovia will receive new Cisco technology that will allow for real-time, interactive training with other fire departments throughout the region.
