Veterans Day celebration in Library Park. Including a Nisei Congressional Gold Medal winner from one of the very-highly decorated ethnic Japanese (Nisei) units that fought in Europe during World War Two. Also, the unveiling of a plaque honoring Korean War vets.
My uncle was one of the Metal of Honor recipients from the 442nd.There is a plaque/stone at Victory park in his honor. Just my 2 cents worth.
