NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY ~ Nov. 13. Monrovia Public Library will celebrate National Native American History Month and the rich traditions of the first Californians with the Costanoan-Rumsen-Carmel People. There will be dancing, drumming, storytelling and history. At the Library bandshell from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13. No reservations necessary. MAYOR'S PRAYER BREAKFAST ~ Nov. 19. The annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. on November 19 at the Doubletree Hotel at 924 Huntington Drive. Dr. John Mastrogiovanni of the Jesus is Lord Christian Center will speak on "Our Family, Our Community." It is a buffet breakfast. Cost is $25.
