Interesting to finally see a report about this somewhere. I live in the neighborhood, and received a phone call from Mayflower school that day that the bus, bringing home the school children, had to return to Mayflower for safety reasons due to heavy police activity in our neighborhood. I was very appreciative of the school for their safety concerns and handling of this situation.
